After posting yesterday I had forgotten how much I really like blogging.... it is a creative outlet...which is great...which is also a bunch of work...but I am going to try harder to post more often, because I really like it and hopefully you do too!
Nathan is now three. I cannot believe it...It seems like yesterday that we were just taking him home. He is so big yet still so small. I am still trying to get through the terrible threes. He just does not know how to express himself yet. And right now, expressing himself is usually in the form of a tantrum or "mom. mom. mom. MOM!" I wonder why it is not Dad, but realize that dad is mostly the "fun" person. They go to Cavs games and baseball games and when mom is not home they wreck the house together and don't really bother cleaning up...you know...that fun stuff you remember with your dad. The best thing I remember is my dad always cooking breakfast with us when my mom was out. I really don't remember cleaning up either...poor mom...she is still laughing at me :)
Nathan's birthday party was re-scheduled because of the huge snow storm. We made it that Sunday instead...of course it was much smaller because of that fact, but it turned out super cool anyway. We had a cowboy theme and everything...it was great. Here are a few shots...
And I did not spit on the cake, YEAH!!
I want candy!
the fav present of the day - the guitar (ripped jeans part of the cowboy gear he refused wear)
So let's get to scrapbooking! YEAH!!! In Pat Catan's there are a whole new bunch of $1.00 Stamps!!! YEAH!!!!
They are called Lil' Stamps by Inque boutique. They are easy to use. There are about 96 different kinds of stamps available. I am only showing you a sampling....
An assortment
Close up view of a few
What you get in each package - directions, stamps you punch out, foam mat (this works great!), and a square backing (so you can store your stamps without wiping off the sticky part)
You still use your clear mounting block - makes for easy positioning! Place the foam mat under the surface for a great looking stamp (you get ALL the details!). Oh and By the way, those ink pads are $1.00 each too!!!!
There you have it!
This is how you store them. Put the white backing on the sticky side and store it!
Happy Stamping!!!
Jennifer
